Mug Rug Madness - Jeni of In Color Order

Tutorial #4 - Jeni's scrappy stack Mug Rug

Sticking with the theme of "simple Mug Rugs" from yesterday's gallery, the next tutorial in our series is this simple and beautiful scrappy Mug Rug from my friend Jeni of In Color Order. Jeni's tutorial is easy and straightforward - and you've got to love anyone that recommends "press your seams anyway you'd like!" ;] I bet if you sat down to sew this little Mug Rug right now you'd have it done in just an hour or so! It might take you more time to figure out which of your beloved scraps you're going to sew with!

  1. Thank you so much for keeping us updated, I am really enjoying this.

  2. I"m loving the whole mug rug thing. Just my size of project right now.

By the way, looking at your flickr pics - do you not just love the Harbor Freight blades. For the price of one blade at JoAnns (or anywhere) I think I bought 8 or 10 packs of 2 blades each.

  3. I'm loving joining along it's been a while since I made any quilts. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. I'm enjoying this too. I'll post the mug rug I made today. So much fun!!
