Pumpkin picking

(Disclaimer: I'm really really really going to try and keep this blog updated! To both document our fun little life and to keep in touch with friends and family.)

As most of you probably know, we moved to Utah at the beginning of September. Marc got a great job offer here that was too good to pass up. Even though we love California it is nice to be here close to some family and in a great place to live. We so far are loving living in here. Our neighborhood is great and Marc likes his new job and so far things are going just swimmingly.

What's fall without pumpkins? Not a very good one ... so we went to the pumpkin patch this past week. Mason loved riding around in the wheelbarrow being pushed by Daddy and eating the corn that we found in the cornfield (it was clean ... mostly).

He also really liked "driving" the tractor and scoping out all the pumpkins we were trying to decide between. We ended up getting 6 pumpkins and they're all happily sitting out on our front porch now, waiting to be carved into Jack-o-lanterns.

We are missing California and all our friends there -- and things like the Halloween decorations at Disneyland and In-n-Out. But we've already had our first Utah snowstorm and can't wait for winter, too!

  1. So cute, I never knew you had one. This will be so much fun.

  2. You've had a blog since July and I'm just now finding out about it?? I love it. We really do need to get together...for sure at Cafe Rio. I can't believe you haven't tried it.

Mason is so cute, I can't believe how big he is. I love the cute pumpkin pictures.
